It applies to all visitors, members, applicants, and brand partners, and it should be read together with our Cookie Policy, our Terms and Conditions, and our GDPR Notice.
 
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.
 
2. WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO REACH US
 
The Model Club is a membership community that supports models and emerging talent through education, community, and creative collaboration. We are based in the United States.

Account and registration information. Your name, email address, phone number, city and country, and the login credentials you create for your member account.
 
Model profile and comp card information. Photographs, digitals, and portfolio images you upload; height, measurements, and sizes; your date of birth or age; social media handles; the market or region you work in; and any experience, skills, or availability you choose to add.
 
Brand and partner information. For brands and companies that register with us: first and last name, company or brand name, industry, email address, phone number, city and country, and website.
 
Membership and payment information. The plan you select and your billing history. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
 
Bookings, events, and services. The service, date, and time you select; ticket and registration details; and any notes or requirements you share with us.
 
Communications. The content of emails, form submissions, inquiries, discovery calls, and messages you send us, together with our replies.
 
Community participation. Messages, images, and other content you post in our community channels, workshops, and events.
 
4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY
 
When you use the Site, we and our website platform automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
 
8. YOUR MEMBER PROFILE AND THE MEMBER DIRECTORY
 
Members on a paid tier may receive a listing in our member directory. The directory is a closed directory. It is visible to signed-in members of The Model Club and to brand partners we have reviewed and approved. It is not open to the general public and is not indexed by search engines.
 
You decide what goes on your profile. Photographs, measurements, social handles, and any other details you add can be seen by everyone with access to the directory, so please upload only what you are comfortable sharing in that setting. You can edit or remove profile content at any time from your member account, or ask us to remove it. Once information has been viewed or downloaded by another member or a brand partner, we cannot recall it.
 
9. PHOTOGRAPHS, LIKENESS, AND CONTENT YOU SUBMIT
 
Photographs and video that show you are personal information, and we treat them as such. We use the images you submit to build your comp card and profile, to present you to brand partners in connection with opportunities, and, where you have given us separate permission, to promote The Model Club and its events.
 
We will ask for your permission before using your image in public marketing, and you may withdraw that permission for future use at any time by writing to us. Material already printed or distributed before you withdrew permission may not be recoverable.
 
10. COMMUNITY CHANNELS AND THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
 
Some community benefits are delivered on platforms we do not control. Our community group runs on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta Platforms. If you join, your phone number and profile name will be visible to other participants in the group, and your use of WhatsApp is governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy. The same applies to our activity on Instagram and any other social platform.
 
Please treat those spaces as semi-public and share accordingly. We can remove you from a group at your request, but we cannot delete information that other participants have already seen or saved.
 
11. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
 
We share personal information only as described here:
 
Service providers. Our website platform, hosting, email, scheduling, form, invoicing, and payment providers, who process information on our behalf and under contract.
Brand partners. Where you have applied for or agreed to an opportunity, or where you hold a directory listing, we share the profile information relevant to that opportunity with the brand or client concerned.
Collaborators. Photographers, venues, educators, and event partners, limited to what they need in order to deliver the session or event you are attending.
Professional advisers. Lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where necessary.
Legal and safety. Where we are required by law, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of The Model Club, our members, or the public.
Business transfers. If the business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
 
We do not sell personal information to anyone.
 
12. MARKETING, EMAIL, AND TEXT MESSAGES
 
We send newsletters, casting and event announcements, and community updates by email, and we may send reminders and time-sensitive notices by text message and through notifications on the Site.
 
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message. For text messages, you consent when you provide your mobile number and opt in, you can stop at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages such as booking confirmations, payment receipts, and account notices.
 
13. COOKIES AND TRACKING

14. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
 
We keep personal information for as long as your membership or relationship with us is active, and afterwards only for as long as we need it. Profile and portfolio content is deleted or anonymized on request, or within a reasonable period after an account closes. Payment and invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
 
15. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
 
We use the security measures provided by our website platform and our payment providers, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted administrative accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for your member account, and tell us immediately if you believe it has been compromised.
 
16. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
 
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
 
Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
